The Vale of Neath Pharmacy is situated in a stunning Welsh valley and looks after residents in the surrounding area. The pharmacy was part of a new build development, constructed alongside a new medical centre. Since installation, the pharmacists have been able to focus on time with customers and improve stock efficiency.
We’ve taken trained staff away from the dispensary because the robot can do that and brought them into a more patient facing role, which is what they’ve been trained for.

The robot definitely saves time. What is good about it is that it works at a constant speed throughout the day. You could dispense a single script quicker, but over a nine hour shift the robot is dispensing at a constant speed. By the end of the day it has dispensed a lot more than a human being.
