In 2013, Barbara Seyfferth decided to modernize her pharmacy, which has been open since 1984. During the refurbishment of the pharmacy, a special emphasis had been put on the customer need for intensive consultation and a clear design in order to be well prepared for the future.

The automated warehouse saves space so that the sales area could be enlarged. The digital OTC display eliminated the manual maintenance of OTC shelves. At the same time the capital commitment could be reduced due to an elimination of real packages in the OTC area. Thanks to the automated warehouse and the fully automated input including expiry date recognition, the manual activities in the backoffice can be reduced to a minimum.
